An AI consultant for Long Island businesses
If you run an established business on Long Island, you've probably heard the same thing from every direction: you need to be doing something with AI. Your software vendors are adding AI features. Your marketing agency has an AI package. Your staff are already trying ChatGPT on their own.
What's usually missing is someone who looks at the whole picture and gives you a straight answer. That's what I do. I'm Charles, an independent AI consultant based on Long Island. I look at how your business runs and what it runs on, then tell you where AI fits, where it doesn't, and what it will really take.
I work with businesses across Nassau and Suffolk, in person when that helps and over video when it doesn't.
Questions Long Island owners ask me
Should we be paying for Copilot, ChatGPT, or Gemini?
Usually the answer depends on whether you run on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, and what your team actually does all day.
Can AI answer our phones?
Sometimes, for after-hours calls, overflow, and simple scheduling. Rarely as a full replacement for a good front desk.
Our software vendor wants to sell us an AI add-on. Is it worth it?
Sometimes it is the best option you have, because it already sits on your data. Sometimes it is a markup on a feature you already own elsewhere.
Our staff are using ChatGPT on their own. Is that a problem?
It can be, depending on what they paste into it. A short, clear AI policy fixes most of the risk.
How it works
1. Strategy session ($500). A 90-minute working session on your workflows and systems. You get a written plan with the few AI changes worth making first, rough costs, and a 90-day roadmap.
2. Implementation, if you want it. I set up what we agreed on, connect it to the systems you already use, and train your team.
3. An advisor on call. Ongoing help for new tools, vendor pitches, and questions as they come up.
I don't resell software or take commissions from tool companies, so the recommendation is whatever fits your business, including "use what you already have" or "not yet."
Not sure where to start? That's the point.
Tell me a little about your business and I'll put together an agenda for our first conversation.
